Volunteers Week and Celebratory Event / Wythnos Gwirfoddolwyr a Dathliad Genedlaethol

Volunteers’ Week is a national celebration of the contributions made by volunteers.
More than one in four people in Wales volunteer. They all give their time and energy to do all sorts of amazing things from coaching young people in sport, befriending older people, acting as advocates, fundraising for medical research, to saving lives.
There is no doubt Wales and our local communities are better places thanks to these exceptional individuals who contribute so much and make a real difference.
This is a time for us to come together and thank all volunteers for their invaluable contributions. As part of Volunteers’ Week celebrations, we are holding a special Celebratory Event, to recognise and reward the volunteers in our communities.
We are now accepting nominations for the Volunteers’ Week Certificates of Recognition. These awards are to thank and celebrate the time and commitment that a person, or group of people, give to volunteering for a charity or cause. We encourage you to nominate those special individuals within your organisations and join us from 2:30pm on Tuesday 7th June at Llandudno Trinity Centre, for a celebration of volunteering achievements, followed by tea/coffee and cake! Spaces are limited, therefore we will be inviting 2 volunteers and one representative member of staff from each organisation to attend. This will be done on a first come first served basis, so please reserve a place for yourselves promptly, by completing the nomination form. We will then place your name and the names of up to 2 volunteers on the guest list. Nomination form attached. Digital nomination forms are available HERE
For our social media campaign, we would like to ask you to share with us your ideas for this year’s Volunteers’ Week? We would also welcome any good news stories to highlight the importance and incredible value of volunteering, and in turn to inspire more people to get involved in helping others.
Between 9-20th May we will be visiting local organisations with a camera to film short videos showcasing your work and talking to volunteers about their involvement, so please let us know if you would like to take part by emailing volunteering@cvsc.org.uk

Mae’r Wythnos Gwirfoddolwyr yn ddathliad cenedlaethol o gyfraniadau gwirfoddolwyr.
Mae mwy nag un o bob pedwar o bobl yng Nghymru yn gwirfoddoli. Maen nhw i gyd yn rhoi o’u hamser a’u hegni i wneud pob math o bethau anhygoel, o hyfforddi pobl ifanc mewn chwaraeon i fod yn gyfeillion i bobl hŷn, gweithredu fel eiriolwyr, codi arian ar gyfer ymchwil meddygol, ac achub bywydau.
Does dim amheuaeth bod Cymru a’n cymunedau lleol ni yn llefydd gwell diolch i’r unigolion eithriadol hyn sy’n cyfrannu cymaint ac yn gwneud byd o wahaniaeth.
Mae hwn yn amser i ni ddod at ein gilydd a diolch i’r holl wirfoddolwyr am eu cyfraniadau amhrisiadwy. Fel rhan o ddathliadau’r Wythnos Gwirfoddolwyr, rydym yn cynnal Digwyddiad Dathlu arbennig, i gydnabod a gwobrwyo’r gwirfoddolwyr yn ein cymunedau ni.
Rydyn ni nawr yn derbyn enwebiadau ar gyfer Tystysgrifau Cydnabyddiaeth yr Wythnos Gwirfoddolwyr. Mae’r gwobrau hyn i ddiolch a dathlu’r amser a’r ymrwymiad y mae person, neu grŵp o bobl, yn eu rhoi i wirfoddoli dros elusen neu achos. Rydym yn eich annog chi i enwebu’r unigolion arbennig hynny yn eich sefydliadau ac ymuno â ni o 2:30pm ymlaen ddydd Mawrth 7fed Mehefin yng Nghanolfan y Drindod Llandudno, ar gyfer dathliad o gyflawniadau gwirfoddoli, gyda the / coffi a chacen i ddilyn! Mae’r llefydd yn gyfyngedig, felly byddwn yn gwahodd 2 wirfoddolwr ac un aelod cynrychioliadol o staff o bob sefydliad i fynychu. Bydd hyn yn cael ei wneud ar sail y cyntaf i’r felin, felly a fyddech cystal â chadw lle i chi’ch hun yn brydlon os gwelwch yn dda, drwy lenwi’r ffurflen enwebu. Wedyn byddwn yn rhoi eich enw ac enwau hyd at 2 wirfoddolwr ar y rhestr gwesteion. Ffurflen enwebu ynghlwm. Mae ffurflenni enwebu digidol ar gael YMA.
Ar gyfer ein hymgyrch ar y cyfryngau cymdeithasol, hoffem ofyn i chi rannu eich syniadau gyda ni ar gyfer yr Wythnos Gwirfoddolwyr eleni? Byddem hefyd yn croesawu unrhyw straeon newyddion da i dynnu sylw at bwysigrwydd a gwerth anhygoel gwirfoddoli ac, yn ei dro, i ysbrydoli mwy o bobl i gymryd rhan er mwyn helpu eraill.
