Good afternoon,
You will be aware of Welsh Government’s decision to offer a £500 payment to unpaid carers who were looking after someone during the pandemic. Carers will need to have been in receipt of Carer’s Allowance on 31st March 2022 to be eligible.
Can you please share the attached letter with any carers you are in contact with, who reside in Conwy?
The letter outlines how carers living in Conwy County Borough Council can claim, with an online option and a telephone option, assisted by our Single Point of Access team.
Please be aware that there is a closing date for carers to apply for the payment: 15th July 2022.
