Cronfa Canolfannau Clyd / Warm Hubs Grant

Published: Mon, 11/28/22

Mae Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Conwy mewn partneriaeth a Chymorth Cymunedol a Gwirfoddol Conwy (CGGC) yn darparu cyllid Canolfannau Clyd Llywodraeth Cymru (LLC).
Mae Llywodraeth Cymru wedi cyhoeddi £1m o gyllid i gefnogi Canolfannau Cynnes fel mannau diogel a chynnes o fewn y gymuned leol y gall pobl fynd iddynt i gadw’n gynnes yn ystod y Gaeaf. Gyda phrisiau tanwydd domestig yn cynyddu’n gyflym disgwylir y bydd llawer o bobl yn ei chael hi’n anodd cadw eu cartrefi ar dymheredd iach, yn enwedig y bobl hynny sydd gartref drwy’r dydd, yr henoed a’r bregus. Er y dylid nodi ei bod yn bosibl nad yw’r galw am Ganolfannau Cynnes yn dod o blith grwpiau hŷn neu agored i niwed yn unig a gallai gynnwys eraill sydd gartref drwy’r dydd megis gweithwyr cartref.
Mae nifer o sefydliadau gan gynnwys awdurdodau lleol, cynghorau cymuned, grwpiau ffydd, clybiau chwaraeon, a chanolfannau cymunedol eisoes yn sefydlu Canolfannau Clyd o fewn cymunedau lleol, neu’n bwriadu eu sefydlu. Diben Canolfannau Clyd yw bod yn lle yn y gymuned leol lle gall pobl ddod o hyd i amgylchedd diogel, hygyrch a chynnes yn ystod y dydd/fin nos er mwyn helpu i leihau’r gost o gynhesu eu cartrefi eu hunain, er mwyn cynorthwyo’r rhai sy’n wynebu tlodi tanwydd eithriadol y gaeaf hwn.
Mae Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Conwy wedi derbyn dyraniad o £39K i ddarparu Canolfannau Clyd.
Er hwylustod i chi, mae'r ffurflen gais a'r nodiadau canllaw ynghlwm wrth yr e-bost hwn.

Conwy County Borough Council and Community & Voluntary Support Conwy (CVSC) are delivering the Welsh Government (WG) Warm Hubs funding in partnership.
Welsh Government have announced £1m of funding to support Warm Hubs as safe and warm places within the local community that people can go to keep warm during the Winter. With domestic fuel prices increasing rapidly it is expected that many people will struggle to keep their homes at a healthy temperature, particularly those people at home all day, the elderly and vulnerable. Although it should be noted that the demand for Warm Places may not be from just older or vulnerable groups and may include others who are at home all day such as home workers.
Many organisations including local authorities, community councils, faith groups, sports clubs, and community centres are already setting up, or looking to set up, Warm Hubs within the local communities.  Warm Hubs are intended as places in local communities where people can find a safe and warm environment during the day/evening to help reduce the cost of heating their own homes and to help people facing extreme fuel poverty this winter.
Conwy County Borough Council have received an allocation of £39K to deliver Warm hubs.
