Attending any of our online training courses this summer offers housing professionals a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in their day to day roles. With the homelessness emergency, these courses provide valuable knowledge and practical skills that empower participants to actively contribute to preventing and addressing homelessness.
Informed by Shelter Cymru’s casework, our training provides in-depth insights into homelessness and housing law. We look at the impact on individuals and communities, and consider effective strategies for prevention. Learn about the complex challenges faced by people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and acquire the tools necessary to identify early warning signs and intervene proactively.
Our courses are designed to be comprehensive and practical, equipping participants with tangible skills and knowledge to support homeless individuals and families. From understanding housing policies and legislation to learning effective communication techniques and referral pathways, attendees develop a toolkit of resources to make a positive difference.
