Fel rhan o’n prosiect, Mynd i’r Afael â Chaethwasiaeth Fodern mewn Cyfnod Sy’n Newid, mae’n bleser gennym anfon y gwahoddiad atoch i’n digwyddiad ar 20fed Hydref yn y Galeri yng Nghaernarfon lle byddwn yn archwilio thema Camfanteisio Rhywiol yn ein cymunedau lleol.

Invitation to Modern Slavery Event October 20th

As part of our project, Tackling Modern Slavery in Ever-Changing Times we are delighted to send you the invitation to our event on 20^th October at the Galeri in Caernarfon where we will explore the theme of Sexual Exploitation in our local communities.

Mae CGGC yn cynnal arolwg ar yr effaith chwyddiant ar fudiadau’r sector gwirfoddol sy’n darparu gwasanaethau cyhoeddus.

Daw 26% o incwm sector gwirfoddol Cymru a Lloegr drwy grantiau a chontractau gan y llywodraeth a chyrff cyhoeddus i ddarparu gwasanaethau cyhoeddus. Mae’r diffyg cyllid a dderbynnir i ddarparu’r gwasanaethau hyn wedi bod yn broblem i’r sector ers tro byd, a nawr mae’r broblem yn gwaethygu yn sgil yr argyfwng costau byw.

Rydyn ni’n gweithio ochr yn ochr â chwaer-gynghorau ledled y DU i bledio’r achos dros wasanaethau cyhoeddus a gyllidir mewn modd cynaliadwy gyda llywodraeth y DU a llywodraethau cenedlaethol. Bydd eich ymatebion i’r arolwg hwn yn ein helpu i adeiladu’r sylfaen dystiolaeth gan Gymru a chefnogi ein hymdrechion i ddylanwadu.

Rydym yn gobeithio y byddwch yn ymateb ac yn rhannu gyda chysylltiadau perthnasol.

WCVA is conducting a survey on the impact of inflation on voluntary sector organisations delivering public services.

Income from government and public bodies through grants and contracts to deliver public services makes up around 26% of the voluntary sector’s income in England and Wales. Underfunding of these services is a longstanding problem for the sector, and it is now being exacerbated by the cost of living crisis.

We are working alongside sister councils across the UK to make the case to UK and national governments for sustainably funded public services. Your responses to this survey will help us build an evidence base from Wales and support our influencing efforts.

The survey closes at 12 pm on 13 October 2023.

Rôl y Cyfarwyddwr

Mae NWAMI yn hyrwyddo Cydlyniant Cymunedol ac Integreiddio Cymdeithasol trwy addysg ac ymgysylltu diwylliannol yn fyd-eang, ein nod yw lleihau troseddau casineb ledled cymdeithas trwy feithrin goddefgarwch a dealltwriaeth, ynghyd â pharch at ddiwylliant amrywiol i bawb.

Fel Cyfarwyddwyr NWAMI ein prif rôl yw cefnogi cenhadaeth y sefydliad fel y nodir uchod.

Mae hyn yn cynnwys - Presenoldeb mewn cyfarfodydd trwy gydol y flwyddyn - y Cyfarfod Cyffredinol Blynyddol, 2 gyfarfod arall, ac unrhyw rai ychwanegol a all godi oherwydd anghenion penodol. Fel arfer cynhelir y cyfarfodydd hyn ar-lein oherwydd y pellteroedd i lawer o gyfarwyddwyr ond efallai y bydd angen cyfarfodydd wyneb yn wyneb yn achlysurol a rhoddir rhybudd os felly.

Trefnu digwyddiadau diwylliannol. Gallai'r rhain fod ar-lein, yn genedlaethol, neu'n lleol ond dylent hyrwyddo cenhadaeth NWAMI.

Chwiliwch am gyfleoedd ariannu. Mae NWAMI yn sefydliad di-elw, ac mae'n dibynnu ar grantiau. Mae'r rhain yn tueddu i gael eu priodoli'n benodol i ddigwyddiadau ac ardaloedd unigol. Mae templedi cais ar gael i gyfarwyddwyr eu defnyddio i wneud cais am arian.

Chwilio am gyfleoedd i sefydliadau partner. Mae yna sefydliadau cymunedol yn lleol ac yn genedlaethol sy'n hyrwyddo cenadaethau tebyg i NWAMI. Chwilio am ffyrdd i bartneru ar gyfer partneriaethau unigol, tymor byr, neu dymor hir i gryfhau enw da NWAMI.

Manylebau personol a ddymunir

Rhywun ag amser sbâr sy'n gallu ymrwymo i'r sefydliad. Gall fod yn addas ar gyfer person wedi ymddeol/lled ymddeol. cefndir amrywiol gyda sgiliau a pharodrwydd i gynorthwyo gyda gweinyddiaeth yn enwedig mewn cyfrifeg ac ysgrifennu cynigion.

NWAMI

Director’s Role

NWAMI promotes Community Cohesion and Social Integration through education and cultural engagement globally, we aim to reduce hate crime throughout society through building tolerance and understanding, along with a mutual respect for diverse culture for all. (www.nwami.org.uk)

As Directors of NWAMI our primary role is to support the mission of the organisation as stated above.

This involves

Attendance at meetings throughout the year - the AGM, 2 other meetings, and any additional ones that may arise due to specific needs. These meetings are typically held online due to the distances involved for many directors but occasional face to face meetings may be required and notice will be given if so.

Organisation of cultural events. These could be online, national, or local but should promote the mission of NWAMI.

Look for funding opportunities. NWAMI is a not for profit organisation, and is reliant upon grants. These tend to be specifically attributed to individual events and areas. Application templates are available for directors to use to apply for funds.

Look for opportunities for partner organisations. There are community organisations both locally and nationally that promote similar missions to NWAMI. 

Look for ways to partner for individual, short term, or longer term partnerships to strengthen the reputation of NWAMI.

Personal specifications desired

Somebody with spare time able to commit to the organisation. May well suit a retired/semi retired person. diverse background with skills and willingness to assist in administration particularly in accounting and bid writing.
