A Chat with the Postcode Community Trust: How to Get Funding

Postcode Community Trust provides unrestricted funding to charities and good causes operating in Wales. In 2024 Postcode Community Trust provided over £3 million across Wales and will be hosting a workshop advising about changes to their funding structure for the final funding round of 2025. Along with covering upcoming changes to their funding, the session will provide insight into their eligibility criteria and include tips and tricks to put together a strong application for funding.

Mae’r Gronfa Ynni Glân yn cynorthwyo mudiadau gwirfoddol yng ngogledd Cymru i leihau allyriadau carbon a chreu arloesedd mewn ynni glân.

BETH FYDD YN EI GYLLIDO?

Mae’r Gronfa Ynni Glân yn cefnogi:

Bydd 50% o’r cyllid yn grant (lleiafswm: £25,000, uchafswm: £500,000), 25% yn fenthyciad di-log (hyd at £250,000), a bydd angen i’r 25% sydd ar ôl fod yn gyllid cyfatebol.

North Wales Clean Energy Fund

The Clean Energy Fund is supporting voluntary organisations in North Wales to lower carbon emissions and create innovation in clean energy.

WHAT WILL IT FUND?

The Clean Energy Fund supports:

• Energy efficiency upgrades
• Renewable energy generation
• Smart energy solutions including storage
• Large scale solar & tidal energy
• Operations improvements that lead to lower-carbon production

Funding will be 50% grant (minimum £25,000, maximum £500,000), 25% interest free loan (up to £250,000), with the remaining 25% required as match funding.

Grants to charitable organisations supporting communities and hubs working hard to improve their resilience in the energy transition.

The Fore

The Fore will be increasing it’s maximum (unrestricted) grant size from 30k to 45k!

The new grant ceiling will apply from our Autumn 2025 funding round onwards, which will be opening for registrations of interest from 22nd July.

This change ensures The Fore’s offer remains ambitious, differentiated and impactful for high-potential small charities and social enterprises, and means our grants continue to create transformational impact.

Step Forward Fund

Children & Young People Funding to support Youth Diversionary projects and/or projects tackling and preventing Anti-Social Behaviour

The North Wales Police and Crime Commissioner is inviting applications from voluntary and community organisations, charities, youth services and local partners to deliver targeted projects that help prevent anti-social behaviour and support young people through positive diversionary activities.

The funding aims to support the Commissioner’s priorities to reduce anti-social behaviour and engage with young people at risk of involvement in crime, or school exclusion, through positive activities.

The Commissioner will be supporting two projects for a maximum of £25k each per year. The funding will consist of a three-year funding offer until 31st September 2028.
