Funding News Brief

As well as the numerous grants that CVSC administer, we also have a Sustainable Funding Officer who can assist groups within Conwy who may not be eligible for our own grant funds or are looking for match funding.
 

Our Funding Officer can:

• source funding for you 
• help you with your fundraising activities
• assist with any funding application.

Os oes angen arian ychwanegol ar eich sefydliad cymunedol, dewch draw i'n sesiwn ar-lein ni am ddim i ddarganfod sut gall eich sefydliad dderbyn cyllid digyfyngiad am ddim drwy'r platfform cyllido easyfundraising.

Yn y sesiwn anffurfiol a defnyddiol yma, bydd Becky o easyfundraising yn dangos i chi sut gall eich gwirfoddolwyr, eich staff a’ch cefnogwyr ddefnyddio'r platfform easyfundraising i godi rhoddion am ddim i'ch sefydliad pan fyddant yn siopa gyda manwerthwyr blaenllaw.

Am easyfundraising

Drwy easyfundraising bydd 8,000 o fanwerthwyr ar-lein yn rhoi arian i'ch sefydliad pan fydd eich gwirfoddolwyr, eich staff a’ch cefnogwyr yn siopa gyda nhw. Gall unrhyw beth o siopa bwyd wythnosol i wyliau teuluol gynhyrchu rhodd am ddim i chi. Bob 3 mis byddwch yn derbyn yr holl roddion sy’n cael eu codi gan eich cefnogwyr a gan ei fod yn gyllid digyfyngiad, rydych chi’n cael gwario'r arian ar beth bynnag sydd arnoch chi ei angen.

Easyfundraising Information Session

If your community organisation needs additional funds, come along to our free online session find out how your organisation can receive free unrestricted funding via funding platform easyfundraising.

In this helpful, informal session, Becky from easyfundraising will show you how your volunteers, staff and supporters can use the easyfundraising platform to raise donations for free for your organisation when they shop with leading retailers. 

What to expect:

• A live demonstration of how it works
• Instructions on how to get your organisation set up
• Tips on how to raise as much as possible 
• A Q&A session with Becky

About easyfundraising

Through easyfundraising 8,000 online retailers will donate money to your organisation when your volunteers, staff and supporters shop with them. Anything from a weekly grocery shop to a family holiday can generate a free donation for you.  Every 3 months you’ll receive all the donations raised by your supporters and as it’s unrestricted funding, you spend the money on whatever you need.

Asda Foundation: Local Community Spaces Fund

To be eligible to apply for this fund, your community space must be an accessible place where members of the community can interact, seek support and access a variety of services and activities. Grants are between £10,000 and £20,000.

The application window for this grant will open on 7th May and will close at 10am on Wednesday 28th May 2025.

Local Community Spaces Fund | Asda Foundation

NFU Mutual Charitable Trust

Grants of up to £50,000 are available for initiatives which would have a significant impact on the rural community. The focus is on the areas of education of young people in rural areas, social welfare, and relief of poverty within rural areas.

Priority will be given to larger initiatives that would have a significant impact on rural communities, as well as initiatives in the areas of education of young people in rural areas and relief of poverty within rural areas.

Applications are considered twice a year, and the next deadline is 23^rd May 2025.

B&Q Foundation

The funding is intended for registered charities working with people in need (by reason of financial hardship, sickness, disability, other disadvantage or distress) in the UK and who need funding for the following:

• Projects that provide, maintain, repair or improve housing or community space.
• Supporting people experiencing poor housing or homelessness

There are two levels of grants: Up to £5,000 for garden projects or up to £10,000 for building or indoor projects. There will be three funding rounds in 2025, and the deadlines are: 9th May, 1st August and 7th November 2025
